Take a peer inside Ina Garten's cool Manhattan apartment.
Ina Garten, a k a the Barefoot Contessa, in her Manhattan living room. The photo over the shelf is a silver and graphite print by Hiromitsu Morimoto, through Bloom.
The 1902 easy chair by Otto Wagner appears as present day as the stone-and-steel demilune table, from Luca and Co. The silk velvet drapes in Pain Brulé by Prelle are lined in copper-hued silk by Rogers and Goffigon. Light from Lucca and Co.
Garten found the mid eighteenth century couch, alongside a nineteenth century duplicate, at Jean-Philippe Demeyer Antiques in Belgium. Both are shrouded in Belgian cloth. Cushions by Dransfield and Ross. A length of yellow silk from May Vervoordt will in the long run upholster that Louis XIII seat, from Amy Perlin. The slate end table is by Axel Vervoordt. The floor covering is by Christian Liaigre. Paint shading on dividers is Slipper Satin by Farrow and Ball.
The shelf by Axel Vervoordt is flexible to the point that it turns into a regularly evolving collection.
The table is set with Garten's most loved stemware, Cristallerie La Rochère in the Amité design. Bronze candles by Ted Muehling.
The pumpkin-hued tablecloth looks like brilliant silk, yet can go straight into the clothes washer. From May Vervoordt. Cloth napkins by ABH Design. Brace upheld seats from Axel Vervoordt.
A Bosch dishwasher, a Liebherr fridge, and a Sub-Zero cooler are tucked underneath the ledge, made of Petit Granit, a Belgian stone. The goosenecked Easton Classic fixture makes it simple to fill substantial pots, and Garten likes the cleaned nickel complete in light of the fact that it would seem that old silver.
